The theme for La Fleur’s 2017 Lottery Conference is “LotTECH Connect.” The early bird deadline is Friday, September 22nd. Click here to find out more information on our website.
The conference will be held Monday, November 13 through Thursday, November 16 at the Intercontinental Stephen F. Austin Hotel. Registration starts at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, November 13. The Opening Night Reception will be held at the hotel (2nd level). The conference ends at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 16.
The technology-focused conference will examine the latest developments for cashless transactions, APIs, in-lane sales, gift cards and more. Lottery directors will participate in panels examining new ways to sell lottery tickets, new retail business opportunities, and new retail channels.
In addition to tech-oriented presentations, there will be lottery marketing presentations on tribal casino sponsorships, the InspiredOH campaign, in-lane gift cards, scratch innovation, ilottery and Canadian lottery innovations. Ad agency execs will focus on their non-lottery clients to export inspiration for lottery clients.
We’ll be turning microphones over to lottery director panels to examine Powerball and Mega Millions changes, event sponsorships, draw game promotions, instant game trends and more. A VIP panel of lottery marketing directors will examine the opportunities and challenges for fiscal 2018 and beyond. The main program will end on Wednesday evening with an Austin Awesome happy hour at Stephen F’s.
We’ll also recognize the winners of La Fleur’s 2017 Best Lottery Advertising Contest on stage. This is the industry’s only peer-to-peer voting on best-in-class lottery advertising.
La Fleur’s signature interactive workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. We turn the microphones over to lottery marketers for fast-paced 5-minute presentations. Audience members are encouraged to provide input from their own experience when applicable. All attendees are invited to attend this session.
