Intralot has agreed a strategic partnership that will allow it to leverage Amelco’s sports betting software.
In a statement, Intralot said the deal would enable it to address market opportunities by its own retail expertise with the functionalities of Amelco’s platform into a “single novel solution”.
The definitive agreement is due to be finalised in the opening quarter of next year.
“Partnering with Amelco is a milestone development for the evolution of Intralot sports-betting offering and our capability to enhance our leading position in a fast-growing sports betting market around the world, across all channels,” Intralot chief executive Antonios Kerastaris said.
Damian Walton, founder of Amelco, added: “Our agreement with Intralot is an important recognition of the high calibre of our betting platform and a tremendous opportunity for us to access world markets through Intralot’s wide and prestigious client base and expertise.
