Scientific Games bags two new contracts in Denmark

Scientific Games Corporation has won two major contracts with Denmark national lottery, Danske Spil.

The company announced on Tuesday that Danske Lotteri Spil has ended its partnership with another systems technology supplier, and awarded a new seven-year contract to Scientific Games. Under the contract, Scientific Games will provide Danske Lotteri Spil with a new systems technology, one that will include game solutions and services.

In addition, Scientific Games also received a five-year contract for Danske Spil’s interactive player account management (PAM) solution and services. The goal of the said contract is to unify the player experience across all Danske Spil’s products and distribution channels.

Danske Spil has the option to extend both contracts for up to two years.

“Scientific Games has demonstrated that their integrated systems technologies, expertise and quality of service meet the complex business needs of Danske Spil for secure lottery and gaming operations. We believe that a new open architecture system, advanced lottery numbers games and unified PAM solution will play an important role in our overall mission to increase revenues in the coming years,” Danske Spil A/S CEO H.C. Madsen said in a statement.

“The Danske Spil interactive PAM contract demonstrates that Scientific Games is on the leading edge of the convergence of the lottery and gaming industries, and offers the most complete technology solutions for progressive operators seeking to deliver a unified player experience across all games and channels,” said Michael Lightman, senior vice president of lottery interactive for Scientific Games.
