Lottomatica is pleased to announce that it has received Responsible Gaming recertification from the European Lotteries Association (EL). EL recertifies triennially, with Lottomatica first receiving certification for its responsible gaming programs in 2009. In tandem with the EL recertification, Lottomatica also received recertification from the World Lottery Association (WLA) for the Company’s Level 4 accreditation.

EL is the umbrella organization bringing together state-owned and private operators to promote a sustainable gaming model. The WLA is a member-based organization that advances the interests of state-authorized lotteries committed to the highest standards of corporate responsibility, including the WLA Responsible Gaming Principles and Framework.

Lottomatica’s assessment to obtain certification renewal was carried out by an independent third party, which verified Lottomatica’s commitment to planning and developing a program aimed at player protection and promotion of a responsible gaming model.
